I would not have to attend classes!  Heheehee….

My roses came out a treat and  now I have been searching for something a little more challenging. I have a wedding coming up in May in Singapore.  The groom is a Singaporean and the bride is from South America. I decided to try my hand on the orchids because the bloom is common in both countries. I searched the internet and read books.  Never have I realised that there are so many different types and colours. Each orchid is different in shapes – cymbidium (boat orchids), moth, dendrobium, cattleya (corsage orchid) – and again in so many different colours.  I used white fondant/sugar paste 50:50 mix as the petals are not required to be very thin like the roses and is easier to frill the edges.
